The beat boxing portion is actually in the game. When you do the races it plays in the lobby area.
Uhh WTF I played this game like 3 times (2 of these 100%´d) and I dont remember this at all :O -.-
Sadly, cut form the game and only in the soundtrack CD, it is an extreme shame.
We need more fun music like this again. Just taking it easy and having a good time. 🎷

This game had such a unique soundtrack, glad I could finally experience this game in HD.
It's on Steam for $10 for those interested. Worth more than that.

Another game I've gotta play... Going through this list makes me realize how many great games I've never played.
Probably around 6 or 7 years ago now, I was browsing around our local video game rental store and saw this on the shelf. I read the back, thought, "Looks kinda weird... Ah, what the heck" and rented it. SUCH A GOOD GAME!
I remember finding this game in the mall at the very last fucking second while dad was rushing to get out and finish Christmas shopping. Sighs, if only I discovered the game when we first entered the store I could have gotten it. :/

@Aethersson I paid 7 for it, i think my store was trying to get rid of it. I only had a chance to play a couple hours into it, but was impressed. Wikipedia: Ancel stated his desire to produce a sequel to the game. Ubisoft announced at the Ubidays 2008 opening conference that there would be a second game. The sequel, tentatively titled Beyond Good & Evil 2, is currently in development. Hope it hasnt been cancelled!

New hd remake is coming out for this....gonna get to support it in hopes of a sequel.
Ouch. I had seen this game in a flea market, on the same table, just sitting there for years. When I finally was convinced of the game's awesomeness, it was nowhere to be found ever again. Except on the new game store, but the price has gone to heaven heights. Geez. ;_;

Yep, not long after I posted that comment I found the teaser trailer for it and added it to my favorites. I literally bounced up and down in my chair giggling madly when the camera panned to Pey'j.

I remember the first time I played this game and got to the Akuda Bar for the first time and the Propaganda song is playing. I fell in love with it, and actually left my game on idle so I could listen to it while doing other things. Such a great game with phenomenally unique music. Too bad we won't be getting another like it anytime soon.

Thanks but your too late I've already seen it twice, just to be sure I wasn't dreaming the first time :D But seemed to have come true? It was announced at UbiDays in Paris 3 days ago, that they're developing the sequel and last week there was a comment from Michel Ancel (the mastermind behind this awesome game!) that they've already started working on it a couple of months ago, although they are still only in the very early states of making... Sorry about the long comment, I got carried away :D
Oh god, let there be BG&E 2 someday! It's one of my favorite games of all time and the great soundtrack is one of the reasons to it!

Beyond good and evil is the greatest game no-one has ever heard of, I found it when it was on a sale and got it for $20. I would have paid full price had I known how awesome it was, even to this day I pray for BG&E 2. Le sigh.

I totally agree, BGE had some of the finest music I've encountered in game. The Akuda bar theme is also one of my favourites. Thanks for sharing :)
