Not gonna lie, this, the music right before it when you're facing the giant baby, and the "Dryfield at night" music are still some of my favorite PS1 pieces. Parasite Eve, both Parasite Eves, were this perfect blending of body/bio-horror and science fiction, along with excellent music and visuals. Anybody else feel forever changed when they saw the rat clutch its heart and scream as it mutated in the first one?

@SupraDarky The game is amazing! It's a shame it's such a long wait between PE2 and PE3 (coming out 2011 i believe) I guess fans like myself just have to be happy that we're getting more of the story at all! XD
This sounds really familiar. I've never played the game either, or really heard about it, or the series.
Hm I know this is a dumb response, but how good is P.E.? I've wanted to play, but never got around to it.
@3ajku Probably should've mentioned that on his Adventure of LInk upload, since Iji and Adventure of Link are Platformers with RPG elements. Seams weird to recommend Iji on this video. Then again, Parasite Eve 2 and Iji use modern settings in a deserted government facility, sorta. Oh well, all good games.

Good song, it has that heart-racing feeling to it. Though I still prefer U.B. over it.
What's with Parasite Eve games and killer babies? both games are choke full of 'em.
But yeah I finished it in 2-3 days and couldn't stop playing, so I still enjoyed it a lot. I was way overpowered though probably since I beat the last boss in only a couple minutes.
I beat this game for the first time a couple days ago and I have no idea why I waited so long since I loved the first. I guess I would have prefered if Square didn't fix what wasn't broken, but it felt like a mix of the first PE and Resident Evil. Overall a surprisingly good game but simply not as memorable and unique as the first. Mizuta did a good job with the soundtrack but it definitely lacks the Shimomura touch.
