so goddamn whimsical. I hate to sound like an old lady, but they just don't make games like this anymore. So much heart. I played this game on the dreamcast when I was 12, kids these days don't know what they missed all they have is cod.

true. i enjoy the modern games too, but im glad i got to enjoy the golden age of JRPG in the 90s. xenogears, skies of arcadia, legend of dragoon, chrono cross, wild arms, etc. great times.

Awww. Good ol' crescent isle. One of my favourite places in the game. Too bad this happens right after you get your ass handed to you by Ramirez (again), otherwise perfect part of the game. :)

I haven't gotten to *this* part just yet, but what I found something quite ironic in the game. As it turns out, you don't hear this song on that uninhabited island for the FIRST time in the game! You can hear this tune play when you re-enter the Pirate Island underground base, after the invasion. The irony, is that the base is STILL being inhhabited at that time! Just a heads up if no one spotted this right away.

@SupraDarky Yeah I was totally reminded of Dragon Quest VIII when I heard this. Specifically the track "Mysterious Tower". They sound very much alike. Also Sega is gonna be bringing Dreamcast games to PSN and XBL! How awesome is that? I'll be getting Skies of Arcadia and Shenmue :)

Cast Away would be so much a more watchable movie if this song was the only song that played on the movie's Soundtrack. XD Man, I miss this game and its era. (Dreamcast Era = Special time in my youth)
@Brainstrain91 Hellz yeah. Good luck finding it for a good price though. Unless you have a 360 or PS3 and Sega puts it up for download.
@SupraDarky Elfen Lied never had much of an anime hate since they really did some good work on the Anime Story compared to most other early ended adaptations. I still think the manga was better, but not by far. Especially the ending. :(

NOSTALGIA! Damn. This game was fucking sweet. I'm sorry for the vulgarity, but the story, graphics, gameplay, everything was so amazing about this game!

I loved this part in the game. I could see this song played in a Dragon Quest game. On another note, I finished watching the Elfen Lied anime and then reading the manga (I said I would after the video I posted earlier). It was great! I'm probably one of the few though who liked the way the anime ended, I felt like the rest of the story in the manga started to feel a bit too exagerated. I still enjoyed it though.
