I think in general Mega Man X3 is underrated, but its soundtrack is especially so. I wish that there were more versions of the game aside from just the Super NES version that didn't have the remixed soundtrack.

How about Crush Crawfish or Toxic Seahorse from this game? Or Spark Mandrill and Boomer Kuwanger from the first one? For the second one I'd say Crystal Snail and Flame Stag.

MMX3 has memorable music for all of its stages, but I always thought Gravity Beetle was the best.
I always thought this theme was meh. It's too short an repetitive, considering it's a 38-second loop that consists of 2 different tunes. Couldn't you pick Gravity Beetle or Tunnel Rhino?

Also, after listening to some other of the more famous songs, Sea and Beetle in particular. I feel that those two are somewhat of a Hill and valley feel, some parts was alittle "lax", and made them sound great at times but regular otherwise. Don't get the same feel of "loop" here. Most of the song sounds unique and yet distinguished from the others. Heck even sound sadistical. :P
You can never go wrong with megaman. Unless you go left.
Honestly, i feel this is one of the weaker songs on the list... ;( Intro Stage Song is amazing tho, Toxic Seahorse is decent

Awesome theme! Among my faves though were 'Toxic Seahorse'; 'Neon Tiger' and 'Gravity Beetle's themes!
Actually, it was recently revealed that Kinuyo Yamashita did the whole SNES soundtrack. The other Capcom members are credited for the PSX arrangements. Yamashita also worked on the original Castlevania(!)

@Famicomnoobation I felt the music in X3 was too similar to each other. Its like every song had the same music beat and sound with some minor variations. In other words, when I heard a song in X3, i felt I heard it 18 times already in that game.

Hmm? Really? I'm shocked. I mean don't get me wrong, I love this song! But I hear from so many people they don't really like this one's soundtrack quality and compare to plenty of horrible things. That's why it shocks me to see this up here! Forget all the haters of the X3 soundtrack, it was awesome.
MMX3 music was not epic as X2 and X1... But this game is still good enough to be a classic =D
