@Nate C W I think 1.2 would be the right conversion since PAL games (Europe's format) played at 50hz and NTSC (North America's format) played at 60hz.
@Densester true but I think it all comes down to how each individual person likes to hear it since nostalgic childhood memories are more important than the purism of the original track.

Yeah, European composers often tried to replicate that sound on the NES, because that's what they knew the best (Amiga/Commodore). The composer of this soundtrack was Spanish IIRC.

It's pretty good, actually. I've never beaten it myself, however, on account of one apparently impossible jump in one level. It perplexes me every time I get to it.
Is this game any good then? Kinda wanna play it because of this epic music :D
Grandwicky The game isnt really that great. But infogrames (the company who made this) is known for their soundtracks.
I liked the GB version a bit better (because I was 8, and that's the one I could beat) It's been four years, but I recommend tracking down the nes rom and playing it. The music is awesome, and it's a pretty fun little platformer! I got both as a kid, because I thought the nes one was a different game. To me this was an HD remix ^_^
My favourite theme from that game is definitely "The Old Gold Mine"! You should put it up here ;)

a really good game, it was one of my first two gb games! I loved it so much that we (accidentally) also bought the nes version (which is almost the same but with better music,colors and a different boss!)
@DemonMasterAnsem you were in an evil swamp, and I believe it was the second or third level, they wanted this game to feel really epic, thinking back the reason why it was, is the music!

Hey, I own this game. Oddly ennough, I dunno if it had english text on the box. I Saw German and other languages, though. Easy to beat this game, though. Well, kind of. You just need to memorize some things.

Decided to see a game play of the NES version. Most of the music in the game is rather uniqueish O.o Which is quite a suprise for Chiptune lovers.
