Isn't it odd that Quadratus ended up becoming the "mascot" for this game? You'd think the first Colossus you face (Valus) or the last one you face (Malus) would get that role. Quad's not even a fan-favorite, such as Avion or Phalanx. Weird.
Yeah, I think it was just that the screenshot got popular.
i figured it was because it included the horse. as well, you usually cant fight half the colossi with agro.

I'm seriously considering buying a PS2 just for this game. I mean, it's not like the PS2's library is small, but this game is one of those "one of a kind" experiences that I want to have for myself.

I love this track, but everytime I hear it, all I can think of, is this- *Stab* Colossus- MMMRUUUUUHHHH! *Stab* Colossus- MMMRUUUUUHHHH! It's like the sound effects have melded together with the music in my mind.
If anyone is interested I created a version of this song with vocals. Youtube search Shadow of the Colossus with Lyrics to find it. Such a fantastic game and soundtrack.

I haven't played the game, but I've look up pictures and seen multiple colossi. Should the game have been called Shadow of the Colossi?

The performance by Eminence orchestra of this song is even more epic, it's a tad faster. Definitely recommend searching it!

@Nitrocidal If u really look into it u will understand why not... Look into the costs to Sony... Just keep yer old PS2 around and plugged into the same tv... It's not that hard... I play this game all the time... Then I just switch channels and play Killzone 2...

Fumito Ueda is amazing, both ICO and Shadow of the colossus is one of the best games I have played =) I'm glad I have both games now that a third is coming.....The Last Guardian ^^ also glad I have the early ps3 version so i can play all three games on it =3

This is one of my favorite songs from the SotC OST. It's just amazing.
