While I was playing this game I knew that this song reminded me of something but I couldn't remember what. Now I've finally realized that it has bits that sound a lot like the Gallifrey theme from modern Doctor Who.

Artstyle, soundtrack and story were awesome in this game. Shame they did it so easy they won't do a sequel

Not sure if I agree with the "boring" part, but yeah, not dying when falling, especially for platforming games (this case, an action/platformer) really hurts the gameplay.
This reminds me of some of the music in the Indiana Jones movies. Coincidence?
Bit of a crap game. Looked and sounded great though but was generally rather boring. The fact you couldnt die really let it down

I got this for christmas along with Mirrors Edge and I played mirrors edge a lot more but this game was awesome. I collected all of the seeds but the achievement did not unlock. Some kind of glitch. I thought the ending was great too. I did not play the epilogue.
Don't know that you can call him a prince in this game. All he owns is a donkey, and that got away from him.

This game has the most amazing soundtrack. Better than a lot of today's movies! I will always remeber this game as I remember the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. And that's saying a lot!

God the beginning of this song is so.............gold........a Zelda game in HD with the same cell shaded art style as this one will be more then welcome.

In contrast to certain franchises that never really go anywhere new, Montreal took the basics from the trilogy and changed the progression, battles, setting and visual style, so I don't agree they never tried. The end result was disappointing, I'll give you that, but why did it turn out that way? Id argue the new PoP's flaws lie in its "innovations" rather than the elements that date back to the trilogy; had Montreal made a ripoff, I think the game wouldnt have been half as bad.
I don't see how it's a ripoff when both are games in the same franchise, developed by (to my knowledge) the same developer, published by the same publisher.
I loved this song. I got a real kick out of hearing it used in the background of a TNA Impact intro.
yea, i mean im definately gonna buy the new PoP but at the same time i really wanna see what a sequel for this game has to offer
@j2lewis ha exactly, Im just a bit ticked off the next one's going back to SoT -_- not that thats a bad thing, id just like them to continue this series, but I guess EVERY fan was bitching an Ubisoft listened, oh well
i agree w/ u. a lot of people didnt really take the time to enjoy the beauty this game had to offer, and jus compared it to the SoT series. i always thought PoP 2008 was like a playing art. glad at least some people understand

isn't it a third reboot? Since there were the 89/94/99 year games (dunno what to refer to them as >_> ), then the trilogy and then newest one

There has never been a Prince of Persia for PSX, and the PS2 games were a trilogy. This new Prince of Persia for PS360 indeed marks a (second) reboot of the franchise, but it is in no way a remake.
PoP 1 and 2 on the PSX and PS2(I think it was), This is a remake from scratch to restart the series into something else they had in mind. But from what other had said to me, they mostly have the same gameplay(Except for terrain actions that got improved.) But I think I pretty much lost the interest for that sort of platform trick game.
One of the only reasons i played through pop a second time. :) i prefer the ww and tt played though.

A game I have yet to buy, don't think I will either, I played the other 2 of the series, even if it's a remake, I'm not sure I'm still into this sort of gameplay. As for the music. it feels...."Grandy"? I think you could say.
Inon Zur is really great. I think this particular song actually won an award.
