This is just an amazingly soothing and relaxing song. One of my favorite songs ever.
Having never heard this until tonight, I was 99% certain that this was RPG village music. There's a certain, "earthy happiness" tone that seemingly all RPG's use in order to make their villages say, "we're simple, yet happy folk!" Not saying this is bad, per se, just pointing out an obvious trope.
MrRaindog Well to be fair, most folk song are made to capture and deliver that kind of feeling. So this song did a good job on that!

My favourite Suikoden 3 music. Often stopped in on the way to/from the mountains just to hear it

Underrated game, Suikoden II is miles better but this one was good too.
@wiegraf9009 They recently announced a new one for the PSP.
This game had its faults, but it had an AMAZING OST and Luc was a great antagonist. I'm still convinced he was right and the protagonists were wrong. The Thomas part was wonderful as well. If only Suiko 6 would get made and they could finish off the series! I want a conclusion dammit!

If there is anything that suikoden games have going them music wise, they make some of the best town themes.
