Okay, after years of listening to this song, I have to get how much I love this song off of my chest. It gives me freaking chills for how GORGEOUS it is. It knocks me off of my feet with the first freaking chord, and it just keeps building and building your anticipation. The vocals are so authoritative and powerful starting at :54; I cannot help but want to sing with them, and sing with FORCE, almost screaming, as if calling out to a vast army, stating that we will not fall; we will not stand down. The cadence of the syllables in this song just make my knees weak with sheer admiration and awe, and everything just EXPLODES at 3:12. The cadence of the lyrics....holy crap, I have never heard anything better. It holds that same authority, but amps it up to an 11, almost like that same army displaying their power through the complexity of their song. The words are said with such a staunch, almost immovable confidence, and the female vocals just emblazon that resolve, showing it for the power it truly has. FREAKING. LOVE IT. This is still a song that will bring tears to my eyes with how moved I am by it if I haven't listened to it in a good while. Thank you so much SupraDarky for sharing this song - it truly is an amazing, amazing piece. <3

One of the best JRPG last gen, I had so much fun playing this game^^ The story and the soundtrack are so good. The cast was great as well, I loved Shu the most as he reminded me of young Goku:P
+Turkish JRPGfan I thought this game would've been a cute little adventure, but within the first half hour, Shu swore more than when i stub my toe or stand on a lego piece. "You Bastards!!" xD

There are a few examples of this, One winged Angel, Liberi Fatali and the Final boss theme from Bayonetta. I personally love epic choir music in games.

It's not about his 'style' or changing anything 'every' time as you have dramatic it. It's the point that every single thing he does looks almost exactly the same as his dragonball works. Not in style. In the literal sense. Go look at any half decent mangaka. Bleach or Naruto for example, while adhering to a single style, don't have the same exact face on every single character. I do music. I don't make the same song every time, even though I have a certain 'style'.

@hmnhntr That would be a yes. :) I really enjoyed Dragonball, but I was making a joke last night about how for some reason, even though the variation of art was quite unique IN dragonball/z/GT, everything ELSE he has done looks exactly like dragonball for some reason. It's kind of funny, really.

Although the whole song is one of the greatest final boss songs I have ever heard (and I never even played the game) the best part is 3:30-3:40. Just has the ultimate feeling of climatic finality.

The game was pretty good. Just kinda wish that they had more then one boss music in it, love this one thought. It is something you would hear while taking down a extreamly powerful enemy. As for the pic, that Nene looks more evil then the one in the game. It kinda suits the power hungery old coot. xD
When i heard of the final boss for the first time of this game, I thought "Zola?" And i saw as i was playing: Destroy. WTF. I watched the anime too much. lol

@DragonDogmeat lol yeah i understand what you mean but i've never played any of the Dragon Quest games are they good, but Blue Dragon got me back into RPGs cause i had stopped playing them for a while, and i guess i ended up loving LO because i hadn't beaten FFX before i began playing LO
@DragonDogmeat really i would jump down your throat cursing you out about how much better Lost Odyssey is than Blue Dragon but that would be stupid and pointless because i love both games and they are made by the same people i liked Lost Odyssey more but that is my personal opinion i just hate how friggin hard the Blue Dragon achievements are to get

You'd think that Sakaguchi, or Toriyama would have some good translators. But you are right. This game is deep, fun and worth the time to play.
I think it was meant to bring forth some nostalgia of past RPGs.
A little late, but this game is great. It doesn't really introduce anything new to the genre, but that's why I like it- It doesn't try to be revolutionary like most new RPG franchises do. My only real complaints are that it has bad voice acting (although you can switch to Japanese with subtitles) and it has a bad translation. Look past those two flaws and you'll find a surprisingly deep game.
Yeah, I understand that. But I didn´t write that it was bad, I wrote that it wasn´t the best RPG out there. I wouldn´t compare it to f.e. FF VII or Chrono trigger. And come on, I´m worth "fuck you"ing just because I wrote that? Blue Dragon is alot of things, but I don´t think it´s the best ;)

I really love this track, it's epic almost. While not everyone likes a choir in a game ost, or any singing for that matter, I love it when it'sthis well done.

I liked all the music in this EXCEPT the HORRIBLE boss battle 80's hair metal song that would repeat twice in one battle. It is so BAD!
Choir and pipe organ. Add electric guitar after your own taste.
Choir is a respectable part of any video game track that wants to sound like a dramatic battle. I could say the same thing for electric guitars in rock songs.
I wasn't crazy about the game at all. But this is awesome.
God, I loved this game so much, and the soundtrack of this game was really really damn good. I was not at all disappointed by the tracks during the final battle. But WHY did you have to get a screencap from the horrible anime!? WHY? It... it makes me die a bit inside D:
Yeah, my characters were at about lvl 55 and I still pretty much cleared the end game like a breeze. I had 3 melee characters with Double Attack, Charged Attack and Group Attack, which made the game way too easy. :P That and a black mage with Double Cast.
Until you face off against the Gold Mecha Robo and the King Poo Snake, at which point, you realize that you can only beat them with all characters capped at Level 99 for all shadows and levels XD

I finished the game yesterday. I really liked this song, especially the last half after 2:30. The chorus chanting "Destroy" made me smile, reminded me of One Winged Angel. :P
