@SanchoKobe Well, I would say my Nostalgia for this game is mostly based on how Super Mario Galaxy kinda changed my life as someone who played video games. Before I played this game, the only games I had really played were Sports games and Licensed games, neither of which have aged well for me. Then I got Super Mario Galaxy for Christmas. It blew my mind. Never before had I ever seen a game on such a scale before. While the game looked and played marvelously, the Soundtrack is what really brings me back to the good times playing this gem. =)

Before you start berating someone, at least learn what the word means, nowhere is it implied that the feeling of nostalgia can be felt after a certain amount of time.
And this is at the start of the game. Not wasting time with getting good music in, and it doesn't let up on later good music tracks
I redo missions at Good Egg Galaxy just to hear this beautiful piece.
I thought melee was a bit more precise, less random, more balanced. But Brawl is bigger. Kind of a give-and-take thing. I still miss Dr. Mario, though. :(

I've only completed about 1/4 of the game so far, but I think that this would be my favorite song in the whole game.

I understand. but when it comes down to it you, get used to the pace of Melee, and recovering just meant having faster reaction times.
But the it is a good thing cause you could recover better. i hate how fast you feel in melee
Lol, I admit this game is pretty fun, but I feel like people are saying it is better than it is, is it because it is a Mario game?
I like the way you put it. Melee does make the atmosphere dark and mysterious. Brawl fixed that. It fixed a few things and added a ton, more than I ever imagined would fit on a disc. The one and only true failure that makes the game seem wanting, is the slower physics engine. If only they had kept the quick, edgy, precise action from Melee, it would have been true win.
I my mind; this is the best game ever. Of all times. End of story.

That's exactly correct. Galaxy is a far, far superior game to Brawl in nearly all categories.
Now I want to place this. Why the fuck did I sell it? At least I can play my friends. Oh yeah, I sold it because of the stupid comet system. Other than that, this game is the best mario game since Mario 64.

This would have to be the first time I've ever had nostalgia for a modern game. Christmas 2007... I switch on my Wii, only a year old and waiting patiently for a truly excellent game to be put into it. The SMG logo rams itself right onto my TV as that beautiful music plays. "Is that... could it be? Is this game ORCHESTRATED?! As I continue through the game, I find that I am right. The music is fully orchestrated. I think to myself, "This is gonna change everything."

This is good. I personally like Melty Molten & Dusty Dune. They remind me of their 64 counterparts, Lethal Lava & Shifting Sand.
Super Mario Galaxy has the best soundtrack of 2008, and possibly one of the best, if not the best soundtrack ever made. This... is... perfect!

Ah, I am so glad you added this. I'm disappointed in myself in that it took me so long to realize how great the music in this game was. This song, in particular, just fantastic. SUCH. a good composition. Good ole Mario. New world. New music.

I think I like Buoy Base's music the most. Gusty Garden, Battlerock, Purple Coins, Space Junk, and the Drip drop galaxy songs are all great too :D
