So Classic and Legends are the exact same game then? For arguments sake, even if MM was the most stagnant IP ever, is being the grand dad of a genre a good reason for it to sell? Because it was first? As to each incarnation of the same game being different, that doesn't work when they always...ALWAYS have the one ultimate version eventually released with all the characters, stages, modes, etc. What's the point of buying all the other versions if they'll eventually all be on one thing later?
Street Fighter is the grand-dad of an entire genre. Of course it's going to get love, especially since it's just selling. Not to mention each individual incarnation is worth playing and different. Megaman is varied? It's probably the most stagnant IP ever.
When I saw the Dragon's Dogma Teaser site a while back.. With the Dragon shape and the beating heart.. You wouldn't believe how excited I was thinking it might become a new Breath of Fire! But alas. Dragon's Dogma is a fantastic game. But what I wouldn't give to see an all new current gen BoF reboot...

an excellent theme, very deep and emotional and just overall catchy to listen to. i really enjoyed most of the music in this game, it was remarkable and i think it was one of its strong points
Mega Man isn't recieving any love. The only "love" it has recieved was Mega Man 9. All they're doing now is pumping out Battle Network and Star Force shit, because it's a money maker. No legends, no X, no ZX, etc.
Megaman's earned. Plus his games have variety to them. What's truly annoying is Street Fighter. Making different versions in which honestly the differences are the speed and remix some tunes. Add a character that you fought but didn't play or someone from a past game. 42 versions of Street Fighter II. C'mon.
2 was epic.
I really loved this game. Although it was kinda dark, the battle system was awesome. Also, a very tough game!

Well, 1 and 2 was enough for me. Seems that all the innovation is gone from the later installments, or it could be just that my excitement has gone, because I've "seen it all before".
Nope, all boF games were released in North America. 3 and 4 were on the PSX.
Another game I own, but have to play. I played years ago when I rented it, but for some reason I hated the game. Probably an instinctive reaction because it wasn't my usual BoF game. It's high up there in my must-play priority now though.
I will reaaaaally need to get to the MG series one day. I've only played 1 and 2 a long time ago, I'd need to replay those as well!
