I always thought that Rare should have used the vehicle building concept from Nuts and Bolts to make a new Blast Corps while allowing Banjo and Kazooie to return to their platformer roots. Too bad we got vehicle customization in a Banjo Kazooie game and no Blast Corps sequel.
It's too bad this came out two months before Star Fox 64, it would have been brilliant with the Rumble Pak. I wonder if Rare ever intended to include Rumble Pak support?

@iTeaze888 OH GOD I can so sympathise with you, I know the exact level your talking about, I passed that level by destroying the building JUST as it was an INCH away from the firetruck thingie! Oh fuck I jumped 10 stories straight up with glee and thankfully made my way to the semi-truck.
The original MIDI in-development Incarnation of the song (from before Rare had actual N64 Hardware to work with) is even more beautiful then this. you can hear it on Graeme Norgate (the original Composer)'s website, along with the rest of the soundtrack and development version of the soundtrack.
one thing thats remained consistently amazing with rareware are the soundtracks :D

omg!!!! I loved this game. The last level on that harbour was very hard and I already smashed the controller against my N64 cauz the transporter with the nukes collided with a TINY edge (where you have to bring the boats into the right position xD Love, hate and awesome music :D

I've got this track without the beginning SFX. It was a track on the Nintendo Power-exclusive "Nintendo 64: Greatest Hits" soundtrack album... which was a little stupid of them because the songs from Star Fox 64 were not used in the name nor was the rendition of the Wave Race 64 title. Oh well. :P

Yeah, I always remembered Conker from Diddy Kong Racing and forgot Banjo was even a character in the game for awhile. I only used to play as Drumstick and Conker. They both came out in 1997. Blast Corps released in March and DKR was released in November. Wiki ftw, lol.
Not that this changes much, but Banjos first appearence was in didy kong racing which may or may not of came out earlier then again he was ironically the only character besides the mouse that never played as. who would of known his games would rival that of Rares biggest series being the Donkey Kong franchise
