Unfortunately, I have to agree with you, greendagger. I liked the remake at first, and was eager to buy it as I'd played a bit of the original and loved Lufia 3. But they definitely cut out a lot of Lufia 2's story in the DS version; it felt very rushed, and I didn't care about the characters at all. D: It made me pretty sad... I'm about halfway through the game, and I have no wish to finish it. :( One day I'll continue the original Lufia 2. :)

My Lufia ranking: 3: I don't know whitch Lufia gme ist at the 4rth place, so I decided to take Lufia I and Lufia IV here. They are great games, and perfect ones. 2: Lufia III. This is a Lufia game I would give 50€ for. It is so epic and great! Nothing can replace that. 1: Lufia II. There is no doubt that it is the very best Lufia game. Not to forget, it is not just my favorite Lufia game, it is my favorite game of all times. This is a perfect RPG with the best epic story I've ever known.

Just as theraynexperience said "this was an underated RPG series". It's a classic. You should play the first two games on a SNES emulator cause I doubt you'll actually get the original cartridges.
