This game has been on sale a few times, going as low as 2 dollars on the eShop (edit: it's actually under 2$ currently on Steam). If you like RPGs, it's a no-brainer at that price. Certainly with its share of flaws, but it has some very nice highs including the music. This theme has a really pleasant mix of piano, bass and synths, a great soundscape.

I started watching your videos in March after getting sent home from work due to Covid. Thank you for the years (decades) of hard work and dedication to an art form loved by so many including myself. My only regret is that I will now have to watch new videos as they are uploaded . Or I could start all over again from the start!

I've played Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World, and I liked them. I believe I bought this game a while back and seeing this makes me want to try it, but I actually have other games I rather play in the mean time. When I'm in the mood for old school style RPGs, I think I will give this game some reconsideration.

It's not long at all if. I would recommend you give it a go as you can finish it in a weekend. It...has some major flaws, but I appreciate how it tries new things with the battle system that make you do things against conventional RPG logic. For instance, once character is all about dying in a kamikaze burst, which makes for some interesting game play in a game where it's hard to revive characters.

The only real good thing about this game was the soundtrack. It has terrible INDIE-writing writing that plagued Indivisible, a game that I backed heavily and was super excited for. Combat is...fine-ish kinda. I do appreciate the effort though.

The story and characters are definitely the game's biggest weak points. I thought the combat system did a great job of straying away from having to just spam attacks to win, though it did make some normal battles feel longer than it should.

Quite an excellent game if you can catch it for $5 or less. Indeed, it has some flaws, but I think it is a great starter JRPG similar to Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. It has some interesting ideas and doesn't overstay its welcome.

Very underrated RPG. It’s essentially a love-letter to various JRPGs. If you like the genre it’s definitely worth a play.
