I think we all expect to get Super Mario Odyssey 2 next, which is fine since it would be a sequel to what I consider to be an amazing game, but I can't shake the feeling that we will get a Galaxy 3 at some point. I could see Nintendo continue to switch between open-world sandbox games and more linear ones. I've always said the Galaxy games feel like riding the most entertaining digital roller coasters and I want more rides. Oh, and happy Mario Day!

This game is 12 years old and the soundtrack still holds up to this day, literally right up there with games like Shadow of the Colossus, Radiant Silvergun, the Panzer Dragoon series, Metroid Prime, etc. I remember when the game first came out back in 2007 and being just amazed by it, especially the soundtrack.

I have only played Galaxy 1 back when it came out and man, I still remember being amazed at what the Wii made me feel with games like this and the motion controllers. It felt soooo cool, so I really hope we get the third game. (Don't own a switch yet but hopefully I will soon enough)

Hopefully things are looking up, but if not I'm sure the junk will eventually clear up and you'll have a nice silky smooth road ahead.

8 years have already passed since the first time I heard this song, and since then I haven't lost even a little bit of the love and affection I have for it, this is my favorite song of the whole game. it's just beautiful

Beautiful song. The music in the Galaxy games really is something special. I love Odyssey and it has a great soundtrack that suits it very well, but I kinda want another Galaxy game some time in the future, not in small part to get another soundtrack like the first two.

Absolutely. Other Mario music is usually great, but the galaxy soundtracks are just at another level, much due to the setting of the games being outer space. Going back to the space atmosphere again will hopefully breed even more masterpieces of this level!

I'm surprised it took you this long to upload this song to your list, but then again, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 have such a plethora of amazing tunes in their soundtracks, I suppose it's no wonder. I like Barry Kramer's idea for a Mario Galaxy game https://youtu.be/IxCyq4c07hI ; something more open-world. In contrast to the "digital roller coasters" as you put them, they would be bigger open areas where you can fly around in. I believe that if they were to do a Galaxy 3, Nintendo would do something like that.
