I recently played through this game (Remastered version) for the first time and really liked it. I kept moderate expectations because I didn't want to be disappointed after hearing so much about it, and I'm sure it helped me appreciate it more. The setting and the whole presentation is top notch and the main gameplay loop is very good. I do think the infected were much better enemies than the humans from a gameplay perspective, not only because they are scarier but mainly because it never ends up becoming your standard video game gunfight with covers if your stealth fails. Because of that, there were definitely some long sequences in the game that I didn't enjoy as much. Still, playing through the 4 seasons was a great ride and I'm excited for Part 2. This is now my favorite Naughty Dog game.

I just got around to playing this after ages of procrastination myself. It's good, but in my case I was still a little bit disappointed. It felt like it ended just slightly too soon (or maybe it was my fault that I upgraded the flamethrower so far after the first and only time I used it, expecting another opportunity) and I know I'd be asking too much for more of the gameplay while the story now has me unwilling to replay it...

Gustavo Santaollalla gained an eternal fan for this work. The almost ethereal sound to this and his other works just makes me happy. I can’t wait to see what he brings forth in the sequel and in other areas. Simply gorgeous.

The main theme is really beautiful and sad. Vanishing Grace is definitely my favorite track from the game.

This game man made me "wake up" from a generic loop I was with videogames on 2013, up until that point I was having a blast with my PS3 but never I expected storytelling could evolve into something like TLOU. This single game, made me care SO MUCH about the characters that I just couldn't believe I was playing through all this. I'm just afraid part 2 could not live to it's predecessor's same kind of success. Please, God, I really want to be wrong on this!

I mean, the storytelling in TLOU isn't anything really unique to the video game world, though. It's certainly all presented very, very well and there's nothing inherently -bad- about it, but as far as the narrative and overall themes, it'd been done not only in gaming but in media countless times before.

The track that plays when you’re carrying Ellie out of the hospital always got to me. This game has a really nice, atmospheric soundtrack. I hope Part 2 holds up to this game.

Beautiful track; I've been meaning to play the game one day... I don't know if I've ever commented on one of your videos before, but I just wanna say thanks so much for your regular uploads and the comments you always put behind them. I can tell it's a real labour of love, and I've listened to pretty much everything you've uploaded for 5-6 years or so. Keep it up!

I'd like to see in the video descriptions links to the images you use for the videos. They are fantastic and sometimes I'm interested in them, so I would find very useful to have a link to them. Anyway, thank you for what you have done until now. Definetly you dig up in my "gamer" memory every time you post a new soundtrack, sometimes making me cry due to the enormous amount of memories directly linked to some games on which I have spent more than 1000h during my life (Xenobl... XD) or that I have particularly appreciated overall. The Last of Us is a great game, no doubts about it, and its OST is amazing in its semplicity, but it works perfectly inside the whole game environment. Purpose for next soundtrack: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Main Theme) ❤️

I've been trying to add links when it's not official artwork, but through something like deviantart where I'm sure to link directly to the source. I wish it was easier to trace back to the artist so I could at least link to his original page. For this one, I'm not even sure if it's official artwork or not, but I added the link where I found it.
