Get ready for some overlooked Jeremy Soule goodness. Everquest Next was famously cancelled and they somehow decided it was a good idea to release the game's player content creation tool under Landmark, which completely failed and shut down after only 6 months. The biggest letdown for me was that Jeremy Soule's music went down with it before anyone really discovered how great it was. A truly underrated soundtrack by a well known and amazing musician. This theme is magical.
When I first heard there was a new Everquest, I was stoked. Then it was cancelled.... then you post this and got all excited again "OMG! They are really going to release it?!" Nope... you tease
What's your favourite track of his from Skyrim? I like 'Ancient Stones'.
I was super bummed when I heard Jeremy Soule wasn't going to be the composer for the Guild Wars 2's 2015 expansion, Heart of Thorns, because he was contracted for the Everquest Next project. Maclaine Diemer and Lena Chappelle, who replaced Soule, did an amazing job tho! This sounds lovely, I'll have to check out of rest.
@Green "The Streets of Whiterun" stole my heart a long time ago. It gives me such a nostalgic feeling. It makes me feel like I'm home.

Definitely reminds me of Oblivion.
I'm sure the cost of keeping servers going was too high but I wish they had just let Landmark stay open as a sandbox building game like minecraft. Let people host their own servers or something, the level of detail in builds was insane.
