I have huge nostalgia for this game. I was in full-blown "play all RPGs now" mode, and I played the demo, and everything just clicked with me. The aesthetic, the music, everything just felt pleasant. Even though I was really into Dreamcast at the time, this was THE Christmas gift I wanted in '99. Still the best combat system I've played in a JRPG.

A remake of Grandia 1&2 is in the works and yes loved this track as one got lost.

I still praise myself for picking this up 8 years ago on the PS Store for PS3. It gave me feelings I hadn't had since I first played the Final Fantasy 7-X games. What an amazing game. The Edge of the World is one of my favourite gaming moments, can't wait for a remaster,

I've always loved the way this song sounds. It's been a long time since I played Grandia, even though I still own it, but I can't quite recall what this dungeon was like.

A lot of similar looking low red walls, doors that would open and close, enemies popping out of nowhere. It is an annoying dungeon, but yes this music is very good. HYPED FOR THE REMASTER!!!

I have ALL the fingers crossed for a sequel! I'm so incredibly happy that this game is finally getting re-released! And on the Switch, where I can play this incredibly long game on the go, that's a nice bonus. Great choice of music! This is one of my favourites too. :)

That being said however, I am a bit mystified as to the fact that the Switch Remasters are NOT coming to Japan for some reason. Europe and America sure, but not Japan?

Anyone who played this game should remember this dungeon, I sure do! Gave me a headache, but thankfully this surpisingly relaxing theme helped matters. This is such an Iwadare track, I truly think he is one of those rare composers who have their own completely unique style. I'm very glad to see this series making a comeback with the remaster of 1+2 for Switch and PC, and I can only hope this means good things for a sequel if it sells well enough. Fingers crossed!

I'm hoping so badly they speed up the load times for Grandia 1. It almost kills the game for me, even if I love the characters, soundtrack and unique charm that the game has :s.
