Yoshi's Island DS needed a little work on it's soundtrack, but when I heard this song, and everytime I hear this song, I go "YES!"

I'll admit, this game has one of the weaker overall soundtracks on your channel. The music that played during the final boss battle was so damn underwhelming, too. T_T
This is one of the few Yoshi Island tracks that a baby crying didn't sound too out of place...
Uh... My friend has Yoshi's Island DS... She was stuck on one level and wanted me to help her beat it. I said yes and she handed the game cartridge to me. I put it in my DS and started it up. I couldn't beat the level and I asked if I could borrow the game. My friend let me borrow it... It took a few months to beat the level. O_O

@TheSelim I disagree. It's not like apples and oranges or, as you say apples and peanut butter. They bare the same name. imho The game was good, it just wasn't as good as the original. I suppose if I didn't compare it to the original, it'd be a great game, but I couldn't help but go into this game expecting it to be AS good as SMW2. They got rid of items, the soundtrack, the fact that it didn't take an arm and a leg to get 100%, the cool minigames. Otherwise it was a good game.

Love this game a lot. Best track of all of the whole game. Music wasn't that good with the exception of this track. Title screen music was really good too. Great game. One day I have to finish getting 100% on this. It's harder than the original YI. :-(
This is my favorite song in the game. Too bad you don't hear it a lot.
The whole soundtrack was great, except the Castle music IMO. The Title Screen Music is beautiful, but no one hears it because you have to wait a while to hear it.

I personally wouldn't go so far to say they are terrible... but I did find the tracks in this game disappointing since I expected the music of this one to be the same caliber of the original. The music in this one is good, just not AS good.
Ghost in a Jar haven't heard this game's music, but this song is as good as, if not better than a lot of the original's music. Perhaps it's just a diamond in the rough and the rest of the tracks are bad.
hehe... i was surprised this soundtrack had so many terrible tracks. I had to check the cart again just to make sure it was a Mario title. This is the most listenable song, but otherwise stick to Yoshi's Island on SNES for great music :)

this is a great song, i just wish the game hadn't been so lackluster. It wasn't necessarily BAD imo, but far from being even close to the original in comparison but i love this song!
