people can say anything about the game, but it had one of the best OST among all Castlevania games.
The chorus to this is just the best.
This sounds out of place for a Castlevania game, it is cool though.

Whoever made this list has no taste in music. I have never seen such a generic and boring bunch of songs. ofcourse alot of good songs are scattered in here aswell but its like the person in question never actually played the games only heard about them and randomly picked a couple of songs from each game. This for example is textbook generic videogame music. Great game but not alot of good music.

No. Dracula X was an absolutely abysmal port for the SNES. The real version, Rondo of Blood, is far superior.
SoTN had the best overall soundtrack to me. But songs like Bloodytears that carry over on multiple games will always be iconic to me.
The Castlevania series has some seriously kickass BGMs, but if I were asked to pick one game and loop the music for a week? Curse of Darkness. No discussion.

Ah yes, Castlevania CoD. Pretty much all the themes in this little gem are pretty memorable.
It's just incredible how atmospheric all those VGM songs are...something you can rarely feel from other music.

in regards to the red skeletons, the magician familiar does have a move to kill them, the problem is that it's not one of the moves you can tell him to use, you have to wait until he decides to use it himself

Despite how relatively easy Curse of Darkness was, the soundtrack is one of the best in the series, rivaling even Symphony of the Night's legendary score.

@yeah69mx you ´r completely mad...Order of ecclesia has the best soundtrack ever of the three castlevanias on the ds, portrait sucks...the music is way to happy and out of place...only some minor tracks save the game. Belmont revenge soundtrack is legendary quite posible the best of any gameboy game

I played all Castlevania games, and have to say that the games of CV for the new Nintendo consoles's(GBA, DS, Wii) are the worst of the saga. The anime style and make the games a bit ridyculous. The OST of the games of Playstation are so much better.
This reminds me somewhat of Reincarnated Soul from Bloodlines.

Dracula X for SNES was crap too, but I didn't mind Simon's Quest that much. I though it was kind of annoying, but I liked the exploratory aspect.
CoD has the best soundtrack in Castlevania history, which is a series already known for fantastic music. Hell, even Haunted Castle, the crappiest game had fantastic music.
I agree with you. Those three songs are easily the best, but I think that this song tops Baljhet Mountains.
Heh, Michiru Yamane does that pretty often. Like Gaze up at the darkness from PoR with Forest of Jigramunt from CoD or Jail of Jewels from DoS with Feel's Theme from Oz/Sword of Etheria.

Heh, good song this one. There's a measure that reminds me a bit of Reincarnated Soul from Bloodlines. This game and Portrait of Ruin have the best soundtracks ever created. The best songs from this game are Mortvia Aqueduct, Forest of Jigramunt and Baljheit Mountains.
