I absolutely love this theme, it makes me feel at peace. I can easily imagine myself listening to this with headphones while looking outside on a humid and rainy day. Instrumentation is top notch (even gives me Jeremy Soule vibes) and that bass at 1:25 and forward is what really completes this piece. Happy week-end to all!

SupraDarky I kinda think "Tune of Azure light" and "Phantasmal woods" are stronger maple bgms tho i do enjoy just afking here too for the soundtrack and lovely background So i subbed

MapleStory before big bang was beautiful. Cygnus knights was okay but after that it was just changing to much. I loved the slow pace grinding you had to do because it made you meet new people. The community was awesome back then too, hope it still is!

This was slightly after my time with the game (2006 to early 2009), but the newer content and songs of that era were still great. Temple of Time, Ereve, and Raindrop Flower are some of my favorites despite barely ever going to those areas.

you really didint. it just gets better. getting back into it way more then before is awesome. theres more stories to it to enjoy.

While you could enjoy the story, it was more than just that. The community back then was the magic of Maplestory. Making friends, doing party quests, the free market, Orbis ship ride, etc. etc. Now it's just damage output and getting to the highest level as quick as possible. The new stuff was great though, not saying it was bad, but somewhere along those lines, what made the community great was lost.

Definitely agree with Misha Xiong... it's honestly one of those games where i feel like if you didn't grow up with it when it was new and seeing someone even level 60 was a "Holy shit that dude is high level, he must be so op" moment then you won't really understand why the game is so popular... A lot has been changed and taken away from the original game and it's kind of lost it's spark to imo. Like Misha said, it's all about damage output and cubing items etc

You didn't miss out too much but, a lot of the maple magic it once had is not there anymore. In any case the game was only "high-quality" in the first ~40 levels of the gameplay continuum. After that it becomes a bad grind, and back in the day, it was a grind starting from level 10, even if the atmosphere was super good.
