One of the very few games I will never get tired of replaying now and then. It's still easily in my list of all time favorite games, as well as my favorite 2D Zelda. It still blows my mind that they could create such a unique, dreamy atmosphere on the little Gameboy.

This was my first Zelda game! To this day, it's still my favorite 2D Zelda game. Such a unique world, with detailed dungeons, difficult bosses(at least at the time) and with a catchy soundtrack to boot. It really was an amazing game for the Gameboy.

I still feel aliens made this game because it seems unfathomable that such an amazing game was created for a handheld device in the mid 90's.

Incredible game, sadly the last time I played I got stuck pretty early in the game like third dungeon. I guess I just got a whole lot dumber but I do know a lot of times I had Nintendo Power or a strategy guide near by when I was really young to help me out with some games when it was available and I just never would read too far ahead as to avoid spoilers.

Always liked this song a lot; it's too bad you only hear it for a brief time at the beginning of the game. Link's Awakening was truly a fantastic game; for me, I think it's just behind A Link to the Past, and very close to Oracle of Seasons for best 2D Zelda game.

Even as 8-bit, this theme to me is so adventurous and beautiful lol it makes me think of being a kid again lol. I want to learn it on piano

Didn't even play this as a child, yet it's so incredibly nostalgic. This game had an amazing atmosphere considering it's age and hardware. It always makes me sad and lonely for some reason.

I love how this song gives a great sense of adventure when you start looking for your sword. I bought the SNES Classic yesterday and i am very much excited to plug it in and play some of the great games that are included on it.
