This game came out 20 years ago and a special rearranged soundtrack for it came out recently, which is very good. Kobayashi said that “By rearranging the album this time, I was able to achieve the kind of music that I wanted to do 20 years ago”, but I think the original soundtrack still holds up perfectly well. I wish more people had played this game because it truly was a special experience. A complete HD remaster of this series really is due.

the code to saga has been lost making the HD version impossible, only real plausible option is a total remake.

A remake would suffice for me as the original can't be remastered due to the loss of the source code. They could easy make this game shine today.

They really didn't have much policies on storing the stuff back then so this was a common practice. Crazy thing is that Square-Enix have remade several titles even without the source code so this is a thing. That's why the FF X & X-2 HD remakes and Kingdom Hearts Remixes exist now.

honestly, i just think that SEGA doesnt want to bother with it, otherwise it probably wouldnt be as hard as they make it.

It must have been very satisfying for Kobayashi to complete his songs now having the ability to do so.

This musical mastery of this game. If anyone has played this game and knows who Paet is, then this soundtrack fits the character perfectly adding even more to an already perfect rpg.

Still got my day one copy. For me, it's the best JRPG ever made and holds a special place in my gaming heart.

After years of trying to catch up, the moment finally came! I can't believe I actually made it through (and always reading your comment on every track, which is really a nice little touch that I always look forward to). I think I started following you around 2011, coming across your channel after deciding to create a playlist with my favourite video game music. I have good memories of typing your name in the youtube search bar and having this almost childish warm feeling of seeing all those great video games listed. The goron and Wild Arms 1 pictures vividly come to mind! Anyway, thank you for doing this! And I really enjoy the small (but friendly) community that developed over the years (you guys/girls are awesome!). Here's to you, SupraDarky!
