Kinda surprised that the Floating Garden track hasn't made this list yet. But this is a good choice too.
Despite Konami's current state, I still believe that one day we will have a Castlevania game set during the 1999 war with Julius, Yoko and Alucard vs Dracula's last struggle. I just hope it meets my expectations when the time comes.
Personally, I like Dawn of Sorrow more. Though my favorite out of the Metroidvanias to GBA and NDS is Order of Ecclesia.

This is one of my favorite areas in the entire Metroid-style Castlevania series. It's so calm and cozy. If it weren't full of demons I'd hang out here.
This was my first Castlevania and I fell in love for it and the franchise itself, playing most of all the titles...and, sadly, now it's all over....THANKS KONAMI!!

The eternal debate: Which is better, Aria of Sorrow or Dawn of Sorrow?
drunyon214 well what's the difference? I've never played Aria of sorrow. I remember in Dawn of Sorrow, you could steal monsters powers and you had to do that little seal thing to be bosses. That was pretty fun.
Same deal, except for the seal business. Also, some powers are slightly different.
Dawn of Sorrow for the most part, although Aria had the better story and no fucking seals.
Aria. Better secrets, better variety of weapons, better artstyle, better characters, better story. That said, Dawn is still a great game!
This game was extremely underrated. I played through it so many times and loved every minute of it.

I LOVE the sorrow games, and I just recently started them again. I highly recommend them both. Their soundtracks are phenomenal
One of my favorite castlevania's.. top floor, floating garden, and this one are amazing
Apart from Symphony of the Night, I've only played each Metroidvania once and everytime shortly after their release. I'm sure one day I'll have a Castlevania craving and go through all of them again, especially both Sorrow games which are my favorites with SotN.

I always play super CV4 and sometimes a few other castlevania titles around this time of the year too, always get nostalgic since it was the first game I played and finished.
