One of the best games I ever played. Highly underrated.
A title I'd like to see appear on PS2 to PS4.
It feels like if metroid game soundtrack was combined with a grinding story rpg game's jungle/adventure level. If feels like it holds a pull to find secrets and explore as well as to repeat the same task as you do it. The backdrop repeats and makes you feel comfortable in doing the same but, it asks for special moments to be found as well.

Fingers crossed for some Summoner 2 music. Loved that game. Still sad that it never came to PC since Summoner 1 is on PC.

my 1st ps2 game finally gets to be on your list of music. it is a under rated game.....heck, it even has one of the most hilarious after credits scenes ever.
Oh, sweet Summoner. I remember this launch game that I got years later. From what I can remember from it, the experience itself was fine. From the little I played with it, the game had some unique set pieces and ideas. Nothing revolutionary or mindblowing, but a fine game that was enjoyable.
Thank you everyone for the good words in the last video, I'm lucky to have such great support! Let's get this started again if my schedule could just calm down a bit. I feel like Summoner was a very underrated PS2 launch game, it was quite the solid RPG. Nothing groundbreaking, but it didn't need to be. The soundtrack was impressive and I love this theme; its steady beat and repetitiveness actually makes it addictive and I often end up replaying it a couple times. It slightly reminds me of Wounded Warsong from Silent Hill 4 which I find addictive for the same reasons.
It does sound like Wounded Warsong, also kinda reminds me of Shadow Hearts or Chrono Cross, not really a track in particular but bits and pieces of the osts
This is one of my all time favorite CRPGs, criminally over-looked, right up there with Anachronox. Atmospheric world, decent voice-acting, wondrous ocations, fun combat (and the summons!!). I LOVED the OST. Ripped & Saved it all ages upon ages ago. Did you ever check out the Chapel in the main city (Medeva - so fun to run around!)...the story of creation is quite good. By the way the composer is Scott Lee. Wolong and Iona Monastery (and Return to Iona Monastery) are all great tracks too.
Still need to go back and finish this game. It is nice, actually.
