My brother and I played this song at our high school talent show. He was on bass and I was on keyboard, with a Nintendo DS providing the backing track. We called ourselves The Over 9000's! Haha, good times^^
This game was ahead of it's time, it really pushed the SNES to the limit. Great music, story and gameplay, pretty good sound quality too for a SNES game.

For some reason, today I remembered this theme... but I couldn't remember from where was it. My process for remembering it was as follow. It sounded to a old game, so it was from the snes. (I only bought nintendo consoles) It reminds me to something japanesw, so it was in japanese. It was against a bad guy, Eureka!!! It was from the Dragon Ball Z 2 of snes against Cell!!! After that, I decided to listen it here.

AWAY! if u think the above them is good listen to the whole album ESPECIALLY trunks, picollo and the final battle song (combination of broli theme and all the ending theme songs in one super orchestral masterpiece!

it came out in japan in 89 until 96 before it hit the u.s but they release alot of dbz games for the nes, snes, sega, the old gameboy, and psone way before we knew about it i wish it did was release in the states

Damn! I did not know Dragonball Z was alive in the super nintendo era, but I didn't start watching it until I was in fourth grade. Good times watching the show though I've never played the Dragonball Z games. I actually wish I could forget about Dragonball Z just to be able to watch them all over again and experience the joy of it like I did in the past.
You gotta put Cell's theme from this game! Vegeta's theme songs from the first and third DBZ Super Bouten games were amazing too.

Older video game music is pretty underrated. I remember Super Butoden; 2 was probably the best mainly because of the GFX and the music (Cell, Broly, and Bojack's themes were good and Banzai was nice too).
Music from the 8 and 16 bit era were the best. That got that special "touch" lacking in today's games. Maybe it has to do with the sound chip but they still sound great.
Gotta love the Old school 32 bit music; sounds like it borrowed a bit from Mega Man to me, but yeah.
