I feel like Capcom should simply continue the NES-style games they gave us with 9 and 10 and release 11. At least we'll get Mega Man Collection 2 which will have 7 to 10 but still, it can't just be over for the blue bomber. Capcom really has been badly managing their great franchises.

IDK I still prefer 2 and 3 but I think 9 is right there. I could see an argument for it being the best. It has a lot of amazing music.
The fact that they made classic NES-style Mega Man games in the late 2000s makes me incredible happy. I haven't been able to play 9 or 10 (or even 7 or 8 for that matter), but I am loving the music of these. Music composers can really weave magic with the restrictions of 8-bit sounds.
I'm glad we're getting a second collection. The save stats gave me the opportunity to finally finish all 6 games :D I can't wait to finally kill splash woman!! Been stuck for years -_-

Not a chance that Capcom makes any new Mega Man. While Inafune's influence on the series is overstated, he is the spiritual leader of the franchise, and he got blackballed by the company he worked for for over 20 years.

Hmm. They're not that tricky once you get used to the fight.
If it wasn't for the good ol' lose-all-your-lives-and-go-back-to-the-beginning-of-the-stage system then I would've tried, but replaying the stage over and over just so I can have another try at the devils isn't that fun.
Yeah, I get it. You'd hate Dr. Wily then. The fight is initially very hard but once you figure out how to deal with it in the most efficient way, you can pretty much breeze through it.
The best game in the classic series, with the best music. I just want another game like Mega Man 9, Capcom!
Mega Man 9 has the best soundtrack in the series and I will fight anyone who disagrees.
Zennistrad2 sorry but......some megamans have better musics.....Megaman 3 willy castle 2.......megaman 4 cossack castle part 2 for example
But overall, pretty much every track in 9 is a Banger
MM3 is my favorite but i don't care about "best". I only care about great music.
I hope there will be a new Mega Man game this year that isn't a compilation.

9 and 10 are undoubtedly a return to form for the franchise. There are also no shortage of good fangames out there. (as opposed to Romhacks; handle those with kid gloves)
i dunno bruh...i tried i wasnt even love with either. musically that is. fun factor ect its up there and a good was to close out but i cant say its as complete as the classic MM's
Mega Man 9 has some of the best music of the classic series, Mega Man 10 isn't a slouch when it comes to music either but MM9 is on another level in comparison
