I've never even heard this soundtrack or even this game before but I knew as soon as I heard it that it was Naoyuki Sato, the instruments and style is immediately recognisable!

Yup her name is Master Nekomata (猫叉Master). If you like this one you should listen to "Raindrops - Greening". All of her soundtrack are really worth listening.

modirufa6317 Nekomata (mostly under real name Naoyuki Sato) has done quite a bit for Konami outside of BEMANI; much more than other BEMANI composers. You can find his works in Coded Arms, Suikoden V, Jikkyou Powerful Pro, Otomedius, Quiz Magic Academy, etc... the list goes on.

It's been a while since my last Pop'n Music upload so I had to fix that. It seems like #18 had an overall Feudal Japan theme to it. As often the case with this series, a true head bopper!
The beginning of the song really reminds me of Nujabes, especially with that soft piano.
