NeoTokyo and Shatter are the best soundtracks I've found through this list - NeoTokyo is perfect listening for a grey day. My favourite track which hasn't been uploaded yet is Scrap I/O. I also wondered if anyone noticed this or knows the reason for it: I was listening to Best VGM 2024 from Metroid AM2R, and I thought its melody was so familiar - it's almost identical to Sprawl from NeoTokyo. I didn't notice this at the time when listening to #1659. So I guess this means Sprawl and SR388 from Metroid II share similarities?
NeoTokyo's OST is disgustingly good. The opening, with Annul followed by Tin Soldiers, has to be one of the strongest openers for any soundtrack period. Definitely surpasses the game it was created for. (And the game was pretty great too!)

Ever since I heard Tin Soldiers on this list this has been one of my favorite game OSTs.
Such a good and powerful soundtrack from Ed Harrison. The previous 3 uploads are my clear top 3 from the game, but I listened to the OST countless times ever since I discovered it years ago and I'm still enjoying it as much. It was especially impressive back then in 2009, coming from an Indie game.
So cool to see someone else knowing this OST and cherishing it as much as I do! Thanks for sharing. :D
