A collection of my favorite videogame music. Note that most of them are from games I played so I might miss some great ones from games I never played.

After 3 short and entertaining games, it's good to see the developers taking the next step and create such a solid Metroidvania. The great pixelart and music immediately impressed me and the gameplay felt spot on. Sometimes you play a game and it only takes a couple minutes to know that you will like it. Some of the areas (mainly the darker ones) and the way the are structured really reminded me of the real Metroidvanias. It's also very well balanced and provides a good challenge. I'm already excited for a sequel and hopefully they can expand it even more and add a weapons system.
It took you til #4 to get to a game you didn't say you were disappointed in. Seems like 2016 was a weak year for games.
2016 was very weak, Final Fantasy XV being at the forefront.
The game was pretty interesting and fun, I'd gladly buy a sequel. Also felt like it had some Dark Souls/Bloodborne influence surprisingly.
Indeed, I found 2016 to be a weak year. I'd say the first 3 months of 2017 are already better than the whole previous year.
Favourite game I played in 2017 so far, I loved it so much I got the first 3... Which have only a few in common, but share the charm of lovely pixel art (and nice soundtrack). I hope Momodora 4 will open the way for the series, it deserves it. I loved the Pinacotheca theme so much...
Is this game out on PS4? it looks great and I saw a post saying it was in 2016 but I can't find it on PSN

Yeah, another game I need to get to eventually. If the soundtrack is anything to go by the game, then this should be a nice, calm, and atmospheric adventure.
Such a great game, I absolutely loved it too! This and Rabi-Ribi made me appreciate the genre again after a decade of my neglect.

Such a fun game! I really, really enjoyed it as well as all the precious reiterations. My favorite track from the game had to be Gardens of Stone in Whiteleaf Memorial Park. I loved that area!

I don't know when you will a song from Earthbound, but I wanted to say that i beat Earthbound recently. I absolutely loved it and just could not put it down.
Trust me, do a search on his channel and you will find no shortage of Earthbound content.
