And so I'm back! Firstly, I want to wish you all the best for 2017 and hope you enjoyed some good times during the holidays. It was really nice to spend more time with friends and family, and I also focused on playing many 2016 games in preparation for my Top 10. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to play a lot of high profile games (Uncharted 4, Last Guardian, FFXV to name a few), but I'm still confortable with listing 10 great games I played. I also want to thank everyone for your comments in the #2000 video, this is why I do this. I read each of them and was also flooded with direct messages, and I have to say reading some of your stories related to this channel brought the biggest smile. So my reponse to all your thanks is to, well, thank you as well!
SIlent Hill always had a Twin Peaks influence and you can't help but notice it with the bass in this theme.

Man I heard this song in video I used to watch constantly and heard this tune and always wanted to find it since the songs where never listed, now here I am nearly ten years later and I randomly stumble upon it in my suggestions while listening to zelda music, life can he pretty funny sometimes.

Having never played a Silent Hill game I'm really surprised that this is what the soundtrack is like. I imagined it would be entirely super creepy atmospheric sort of stuff but this is really cool and chill.
I think I can sort of hear the influence this may have had on SMT 4 and SMT4 Final

2001 was a killer year for games (Devil May Cry, FFX, Metal Gear Solid 2, GTA 3, GT3, Silent Hill 2, Halo CE). Silent Hill 2 was one of the top that year so excellent choice for this one.
Great Choice! This track comes on as you enter the bowling alley. I always stop to hear it play to entirety, such a great song!

I was expecting another Wild Arms track considering your choice for vgm 1 and 1001. Then again, maybe there isn't any other good remixes of the town theme in Wild Arms left. This is good too though.

Another great pick, Silent Hill 2 has one of my all-time favorite soundtracks.
Not going to argue with Silent Hill, but if Also Sprach Zarathustra was ever used in a game, this would have been the number for it.

I am not sure if i am the only person that thinks this, but I felt some Nujabes vibes when listening to this song. I probably won't play this series, but I know that the music is always good coming from Yamaoka.
