As someone who thought he was gonna hate Sun/Moon and quit the series, I've actually been enjoying it. Like many, Pokemon was a big part of my childhood. I'm glad I'm still able to hold these feelings. Thank you for the upload.

my childhood
I have so many fond childhood memories playing this series; i started with Blue and Yellow. My love for this franchise was rekindled when I saw Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions last December. After seeing that concert, I just marathoned through X and loved every minute of it; so good that it is my favorite generation just ahead of Generation 1. I will be purchasing Sun sometime soon.

My favorite game of 1996 is Super Mario 64, but Pokemon and Super Mario RPG are up there as well as some of my favorite games ever. I already explained how much of an impact this game had on me in the #1800 video and as someone who hasn't played any games in this franchise for a long while, I really need to get back into it. This time for real and I'm targetting next Christmas break (last summer, my "gotta finally play it" game was Xenoblade). It's pretty crazy how this game came out in 1996 in Japan, but only in 1998 in North America and 1999 in Europe, especially since it was for the good ol' GameBoy. It certainly didn't hamper its success.

Well great, now I have no idea what you're going to post. I've been wrong three times in a row so far, and there's way too many great games in 1997 to pick from. I'm going to guess Castlevania, then watch as you post Yoshi's Story or something crazy like that.
