I made up lyrics to this song as kid. Looking back they were pretty good actually.

Yeah I was like 5.... make sure you read it to the beat to full apperaciate it.

I was a Nintendo kid growing up, but thankfully had some friends who had the Genesis. I was able to play many of its classics, but I did miss many of them until I got a Genesis myself much later. The good thing is that I didn't miss Sonic 2, which I remember playing on many occasions until we finished it. While the original really put Sega on the map, this was the quality sequel that helped the company stand up to Nintendo and almost get half of the market share (until the SNES eventually got flooded with amazing games). It also introduced Tails, Sonic's most popular partner. With 6 million sales, it's the best selling Genesis game only behind the original.
True. Lol I was exact opposite. Sega kid all the way but friends had nes/snes. Back then lucky to get 2 or 3 new games a year!! Shining force 2 was my Fav...
