F-Zero was my third game on SNES, I remember how difficult it was and how I master it over time, I was 8 years old. I played this year for nostalgia, I have become the shadow of what I was...XD. (I still rock in F-Zero X)

The great SNES was launched in 1990 in Japan (known as the Super Famicom there) with only 2 games: Super Mario World and F-Zero. This was a case of quality > quantity as both games are now regarded as classics. The sheer speed and challenge of F-Zero was unmatched, spawning a new subgenre of fast-paced, futuristic racers. Its use of Mode 7 was also very well implemented and helped make the game the success it was. Nintendo sitting on this franchise is one of their many decisions I just can't understand.

Miyamoto can take the blame for that, going on record to say that there's no need for another F-ZERO unless it can be reinvented somehow. Which is nuts, in my opinion.
