i remember playing that mostly because of the fact it had klax but i never enjoyed it too much because of input lag up the wazoo

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE, PUNK.
One of the most popular and commercially successful Arcade games of all time. Who would think guiding a ball to a hole, mini-golf style, could provide so much challenge and entertainment? This was the first game to use the Yamaha YM2151 FM sound chip which had that unique FM sound later used in many Arcade and Sega games. It was also the first game to use true stereo. Funny how I never really had thought too much about how Super Monkey Ball is basically an evolution of Marble Madness.
Don't forget about Kirby's Dream Course.
The Genesis port of this game have ear piercing sound, even though the sound hardware wasn't that different.

I prefer the music in the NES version, but the original is great too.
