you will not believe me but i just finished this game for the second time yesterday. my personal favourite is 6. 3,2 come close. 5. 4,1 are the bottom. but every game is so fun. you should really play the later games!

It's only megaman by names a d designs alone. The mmbn games are extremely well done and fun. So is mega man zero. Difficult and fun games

Busy days both on personal and professional levels! Thankfully, I'm busy in a good and productive way. Anyways, this is a series I'm a big fan of but somehow stopped playing after the 3rd game. I've been clearing a nice chunk of my huge backlog these past months and I eventually want to play MMBN4.
4 is probably the worst game, maybe discluding the 1st. 5 and 6 are much better than it though, so don't be discouraged by it!
4 is pretty good, its much better than 5 but don't expect it to be like 2,3, and 6. It has a larger focus on game play and the new soul mechanics than the story. One of the biggest problems people have with the game is the tournaments which make up a large portion of the game. Although before each match there is a story segment that is unique to every character in the tournament and in new game + you only fight against people you didn't in the first playthrough. So each ng+ you do you get new scenes with the other tournament characters. I do recommend skipping 5 if you need to save time because of the terrible board game mechanics.
@Blaze2142 I actually think 5's mechanics are interesting. I mean, they can be gimmicky at times, but overall it was a breath of fresh air.
Please Supra just skip MMBN4, it's like the Zelda CD-i of the BN Saga.
I finished BN3 a couple of months ago for the first time ever, didnt really like it that much most of it felt tedious and navigating the net was confusing as hell, i definitely recommend BN5 and 6, 4 was okay but felt really weak compared to the previous games
BN4 is bad fam. Mainly because you have to play the game at least 3 times to get to the ending even then, it's not guaranteed. somehow I did it in 3 ;_;
BN4 is pretty polished, but the pacing is terrible, you will get bored :( 5 and 6 on the other hand are the peak of the series (sorry bn3)
+King Blank Also, ui wise the game takes a step backwards too. I'll never forget wondering why they changed back keyitems being shown as text when in bn3 you could actually see the item. I geuss they ran out of budget while developing 4.
