I've yet to play this game (part of my massive backlog/pile of shame) but everything I see or hear from this game is great and I also dearly respect Level 5 as a developer, so there is no way I won't like it.

Amazing game, I bought the game on a whim and unlike many other JRPGs, I never got bored of it and finished it. It's just a fantastic game.
To me this song sums up my nostalgia towards Dark Cloud 2 perfectly. Almost had to stop playing music because the joyful memories playing this game for hours hit me at once T_T

The catchiest tune for me is the save file jingle, but this stands out in my memory because of the Dark Cloud 1 style vocals. Closest thing to a third game we got was Rogue Galaxy.

Sadly, we may never get a Dark Cloud 3, But with the release of DC2 on PS4 on PSN, there "might" always be a glimmer of hope.

One of my favorite games of all time!! Dark Cloud 1 was such a lucky find for me when I was younger...but the 2nd game...such an improvement in every way. Sad to see the current state of this franchise - forgotten and left for dead. I don't give a shit about Ni No Kuni 2...give us Dark Cloud 3 already Level-5!!! It has been almost 15 years!

Probably the game's most memorable theme to me with its vocals and great melody, fitting for a place near the end of the game. I'm still surprised that Level-5 haven't gone back to this franchise and given us a 3rd game.

SupraDarky The Dark Cloud franchise is co-owned by Sony. Level 5 wants to make Dark Cloud 3, but they can't unless Sony gives them the green-light to do so.
