Such a good Zelda game. This is one of my favorite entries in the whole series.

Best Zelda game
The only thing that wasn't perfect about this game was it's length. It was a bit to short for me, but that could be because I enjoyed it so much ^_^
I loved the zelda games with these duality gameplay mechanics (shrinked Link here, wolf Link in TP, the time based sand dungeon in SS)
So atmospheric :D
My only complaint about this game is that when you're at the end of the game, the main town is empty due to the villagers being forced to stay inside. That energetic feeling you got from the town at the beginning of the game is completely gone. Other than that this game is awesome and was a lot of fun to play. Glad I own it on my 3DS thanks to the ambassador program. Oh wait! I just remembered another problem I had with this game! The mirror shield should not be obtained after you finish the game. It's pointless to get it then when you're done with the game. Stupid decision.
I'm on my phone, so please forgive my possible shortness/forgetting what I just read what you said. I just wanted to address your two problems with the game. The first being the empty village. At the start of the game, all the energy is crazy, festivals, fun fun times, and even throughout the game, people are out and about, as it should be. But if everyone is stuck inside at the end of the game, wouldn't that make sense? Because somethings gone wrong at Hyrule, and whether it was cause the guards or because of fear, they needed to be inside to be 'Safe', right? The last time I played this game was a few years ago, so please forgive my fuzzy memory XD It just seems like an element that they'd stick in the game because it makes sense :D Like, at the start of the game, everything is fine, but by the end, the dynamics shifted, and it feels emptier and more serious, and that you gotta protect these people from the danger that's about to befall Hyrule! The mirror shield thing, this is more of a question. Do you really get it that late in to the game? I coulda swore you got it a bit earlier. Like, do you get it in the very last Dungeon? At the castle? If so.... yeah, that's a little dumb XD But I thought you got it earlier then that? O.o
@animefanatic777 I get why the town is more quiet near the end of the game, but a thing I feel with the Zelda games is that it's always boring after you beat them, and Minish Cap only made it worse. Again, that's just what I feel. And yeah, there's a big goron in the game that asks you if he can eat your regular shield so he can spit it back out later on and turn it into the mirror shield. He only asks you this after you've beaten the game.
My favorite 2D Zelda game, by far.

You've been on a roll lately uploading my favorite songs from their respective games, this one included. This is one of the lower ranked 2D Zelda games for me, but it's still an excellent game in its own right.
You can't blame it for being under appreciated, it LOOKS like a bad Zelda. That being said, it isn't. It's freaking awesome and had a killer soundtrack.
I'll have to disagree with you on the front of it looking like a bad Zelda, but agree otherwise.

I think more of what he was trying to say was that it didn't seem like a traditional Zelda title, even though Link looked like the Wind Waker version, I don't think many people back when this came out, got the hype for it. I mean, the game kinda snuck in, was out for a bit, and then vanished. I was fortunate enough to find it when I first got my DS and bought it, and to this day, this remains as one of my favorite Zelda games EVAH. :D
My only complaint is it needed more dungeons.

Same here, even though I'm an adult now I got excited seeing little Minish Cap gacha charms at Hot Topic recently!! No other LoZ game has felt as magical as Minish Cap for me.

I'd really be open to having a direct sequel to Minish Cap, but I'm sure that will never happen. I feel like they could revisit the tiny Link mechanic and expand it through even more clever puzzles. But I can't complain in terms of portable Zeldas, LBW was amazing.
Yeah, they could do a lot with tiny Link.
Even if that never happens, I'd love if Inti Creates did a spiritual successor in the style of this and the Oracle games (since Capcom developed these games).
