It was technically inferior, but i enjoyed okamiden all the same. it was really good for what it was.

Really? I remember loads more songs, I love them all. Sachimaru is Orca in the english version, he takes you to the Dragon Palace. I remember Issun´s them, Giving Kushi a ride, The moon girl´s theme, all battle themes, and loads more.

You know what even more sad. At Comic con there wasn't that many people trying out the HD remake of this..But a crap ton for Marvel vs Capcom Origins :( and I believe Street Fighter X Tekkan as well
Underrated gem that really shouldn't be underrated in the slightest. What a gorgeous game. Great first pick for Okami. This is one of my favorites, too!

Shachimaru is known in english as Orca, the one that helps you escape the Water Dragon and enter the Dragon Palace.
It's the orca. Says so in the title...
Shachimaru is Orca's Japanese name. I loved Orca, but I was always accidentally calling him Porca because of those dumb kids -_-
To everyone who says that there hasn't been a genuinely original game since the SNES era, here's what I want you to do. 1. Get a copy of Okami. 2. Play it all the way through. 3. Put the disk back in the case when you're done, and shove it up your ignorant ass as punishment for your stupidity.

The Water Dragon seriously terrified me while out at sea. Thankfully, this song was there to express the magnificence of the untouched sea.
@SupraDarky Its a dolphin you make friends with in the game. o; I never really rememeber the dolphin, but when Im remimded then I rememeber.

i think this music is when you ride on the whale to go to other islands, like the island with the Cat Tower.

Okami is awesome, wooh! I got annoyed of this theme though, but listening to the whole thing makes it sound better. I just constantly heard that beginning part which annoyed me, with the Sea monster approaching and leaving and me jumping off and back on. Sounds like Wind Waker's "Great Ocean" though, doesn't it?

I am not sure myself (I don't remember), but I think it's the dragon (?) you can ride on the ocean at some point in the game. Correct me anyone if I'm wrong.
super late to this response, first you just ride the orca, but once the princess (the fish-like one) turns into a dragon, she basically just acts as a bridge to the island, you don't really ride her.
lol, you picked my old desktop picture (I'm using a different Okami pic now) I forget who Shachimaru even is, since it's been a such long time for me. I liked that song in credits, and one of the ambient cave ones.
Personally I really like Oki's Theme.
