Once a year I drive with the family for half a day through snowy mountains to go skiing, and this sort of chill music is great for the drive through fresh snow and big pine trees. Bringing this one along :)
Just finished this game. It's good, but I don't know how good I think it is. I need to think about that ending for a while before I make up my mind on what I really think about this game. So unique and so obscure, it's hard to rate it right away. But it's good, I know that. Hidden gems are often interesting experience.
It's been so long. Maybe I should replay it soon.

Is this game worth picking up? Always wanted to play it ever since I saw the previews for it way back in the Nintendo Power era.

I sleep to "Free Time" with waves crashing in the background every night. Very relaxing
A fairly big area for a small game, I remember getting stuck here for a while.
I don't remeber well how this game ends, and it feels weird overall... but the soundtrack is always pleasant

Hi everyone. This is a nice little piece.
Contact was such a flawed little gem. The dreamy atmosphere has to be the game's highlight for me and a relaxing theme like this one perfectly reflects it. Ambient, but with just enough melody and variations to make me want to loop it, it might be my favorite in the soundtrack.
The sad thing is that almost every song in the soundtrack is great, but most of the songs are only used for a couple scenes.
+SupraDarky The more you post old school videogame music, the more I realize as I play modern games; that the soul of the music is different. In these older games the developers didn't have a lot to work with, so they had to find ways to do interesting things with what little they had. And this spilled over to the music as well, the magic that these snes era and even up unto playstation and DS, using midi and 8bit music... it's amazing. I reprogrammed our brains onto this "frontier" prototype, exposed wire digital frequency. We were glued into this gameboy/hand held device... I know this is TL;DR ..but we need a mass return to this type of gaming. The DS is doing it as much as it can.

@bulbinking Some of Contact's flaws are its very basic battle system, how like half of the combat skills are pointless, the story is confusing at parts, and how short the main story is.
