When I first entered this forest, my friend said to me: "You can find a pikachu in the grass here, but it's SO rare that it's nearly impossible you'll find it." As soon as I walked into the grass: Pikachu! She was in total disbelief xD
20 years and counting. Still haven't lost my love of Pokemon, and I have no plans to. Cannot wait to see what Sun and Moon bring at the end of the year!

Pokemon as a series was one that I played a lot of during my childhood. I remember when I couldn't go to sleep, I would play Blue under the covers with my lime green GB Color with the wormlight attachment. The original RBY is my second favorite generation ever with XY being my favorite.
I'm re-playing Pokemon Gen 2 (Gold) on my GBA SP right now. I'm just about to the Kanto part of the game, so this is very fitting right now. Thanks for all the uploads over the years :')

Favourite game of all time.
With the franchise celebrating its 20th Anniversary, an upload from the game that started it all was due. I still remember entering Viridian Forest and being a bit intimidated by it because of this theme, especially since the previous themes you heard until then were very light hearted. It's also quite impressive how long it actually is. Cheers Pokemon for giving me so many hours of entertainment, be it from your games, cartoon or cards!
I was sad that viridian forest wasnt really in G/S/C.

+Joel Dominguez (xJoelituh) true that. Gen2 definitely made some of these areas downright magical. I still say it has the best route 1 theme. Its just so much more relaxed than Gen1
+SupraDarky This was one of my favorite themes. If you listen to the FRLG version (or maybe even this version) with headphones, you'll find that the melody lines jump between the left and right ears. The FRLG version even keeps the fluttering sound of bugs in, and it sounds like it zipping by behind you. Happy 20th Anni, Pokemon!
+SupraDarky Red/Blue/Green/Yellow are my favorite games of all time, plus they have the best soundtracks of all the games, love how there alot darker as well! Happy Pokemon 20th Anniversary! :)
