Very nice tune here, can't wait to get my hands on the game.
I'm infinitely more hyped to play this game than I'll ever be to play another Pokemon release.

this sounds a lot like Ekoroshia from danganronpa 2. I know its the same composer. I guess its not as bad as Sakuraba with some of his tracks though.
+eishikibahamut There's definitely some danganronpa vibes going on in some parts of this game's ost. Try listening to the main theme and you'll see what I mean.
I have not played any of the Digimon games. I loved the anime. It was one of my favorites to watch growing up. I watched the first two seasons, but i stopped once the third season started. I felt that Toei really strayed away from what made the first two seasons great. Like any Toei anime, Digimon has a lot of episodes, but it is well worth the watch. I would try to stay away from watching the third and fourth seasons as they were pretty bad.

@Freddy Martinez I am not saying that the third season was bad, it was just a bit underwhelming. I felt that it strayed way too far from what made the first two seasons great.
+Eric C. (slamdunkgators) I think it was because the third season was supposed to be a parallel world of the adventure seasons where digimon is a huge product for kids and teens and later turns into digimon we know but darker
The boss theme is...well boss.
I've only seen one person let's play this one so far. He doesn't seem to be a fan of the story segments. I don't know what episodes of Digimon you've seen, but the season with Guilmon in it is pretty good. It's short and more or less disconnected from the other seasons, which makes it easy to watch without much background needed.
Getting serious Persona 5 vibes.
I've actually never really paid too much attention to the Digimon universe, probably because I was too busy with Pokemon already at the time. The most I did was watch a couple episodes here and there when it happened to play on TV. I heard the games were solid, especially the Digimon World games, as well as the music in the series. Cyber Sleuth came out recently here and it's been well received. The game was made by Media Vision (Wild Arms series) so I'm not surprised. The soundtrack is also very impressive, which again is not a surprise considering Masafumi Takada (killer7, God Hand, No More Heroes to name a few) is behind it.
+SupraDarky I enjoyed the Digimon show way more than the Pokemon show, but the Pokemon games have always been better in my opinion. Though it's nice that Digimon has had real console releases unlike Pokemon
