I don't know why, but when I heard the beginning of this track, I imagine a 8bit megaman jumps in a 8bit taxi and say"Follow that car" and a 8 bit poursuit begins.
I don't like water stages but the ones in the Mega Man series are an exception. :D
This soundtrack - sandwiched between MM3 and MM5, is right up there with both of them. I could listen to the original NES version of all three for days. They really knew how to use a square wave.
Ppl NEVER mention the awesome ass music on mega man 3 or 4, everyone is so stuck on 2 which is highly overrated
+Supradarky , How about some songs of Nuclear throne? It has some really awesome OST songs, especially the rock and electronic ones
I still don't get why 4 and upwards didn't get any remixes in Smash. This and th other two themes in the description would've been perfect music tracks for remixing.....
I think this was the only Megaman game that I actually owned until I got MegamanX4 on the Playstation.

I don't know why. But the music difference of MM2 and MM4 always made me love MM4's sound track much better. I DO NOT KNOW WHY THOUGH!? Is it the differences of the tunes? The playfullness? The variations? The composers?! It's annoying to like 4 better than 2 without knowing why! ><

+Yoshifreak2000 Yeah. I really like it's overall style. The music, the way things look. It's a bit more "serious" than 3.
+Yoshifreak2000 It has the best weapon balance in the series besides MM9 and some of the best tunes with Pharaoh Man's theme and this. I still prefer MM3 though.

Yep, I prefer Megaman 4 over 2, but still prefer Megaman 3 and 9, The soundtrack is extremely underrated I prefer over the 2, songs like Pharaoh Man theme, Skull Man theme, Dive Man theme are amazing for the NES, and in my opinion the Cossarc's Castle is at least 4x times better than Willy's Castle from Megaman 2. What is your favorite track and your least favorite one.

Mega Man 4's soundtrack was a hodge podge. It had some good stage themes, this being one of them. It's not my favorite soundtrack of the NES Mega Man games, but it's not my least favorite.
Personally, Mega Man 4 has my 2nd favorite soundtrack of the NES games.

This track really dives me into it.
I always thought he looked similar to Hard Man from MM3. The hard intro gets you right into the stage. The game's main addition to this series was the charged shot, which then became part of the blue bomber's arsenal.
