Oh, Lisa, the game I thought would be something along the lines of Earthbound/Mother... was way darker then that. Made me sad in the end, but I liked.
One of the best RPG's I played for sure, really enjoyed the dark tongue-in-cheek humor and the story was a emotional roller coaster ride. Also, the soundtrack, absolutely sublime.

This was a 2015 sequel/DLC to Lisa: The Painful RPG which was released very late last year, so I'm taking this as an opportunity to insert Lisa RPG as whole into my 2015 favorites! This is a very dark game with a very dark humor. The RPG/platforming elements are very simple and straightforward, but the hybrid gameplay helps make the whole game a breath of fresh air. Really, there are no other games quite like this. The DLC may have "Joyful" in its title, but you won't find much joy in that world (Joy is actually the name of a drug in the game). The soundtrack is equally unique and fighting against Sindy Gallows with this theme playing was memorable. In the end, while depressing, this is still a game I'd recommend playing just for its world, characters and story.
