What’s crazy is I thought this was the Goldeneye soundtrack
Anyone else hear a rather high-frequency noise (akin to a CRT TV being turned on) in this recording? I don't hear it while playing the game, or on other Youtube posts of this track.

Rare Replay gave me a chance to finally play this game. It's pretty great. Grant Kirkhope's music is phenomenal as well.

GoldenEye is a great game, but Perfect Dark.....I guess the title explains it all! Way better than GoldenEye! Perfect Dark is better than GoldenEye!

Love this one! It stood out the most in this game.
I never did try the Xbox 360 remake of this game (same with Conker's Bad Fur Day), but the N64 original was super solid. I'm actually surprised Rare never decided to release a sequel, the series being commercially successful.

Perfect Dark Zero? And Conkur's Bad Fur Day didn't have a 360 remake, it had an original Xbox one.
+daniel cardoso You're absolutely right! Funnily enough, I was thinking of Zero when I talked about the remake, when it's obviously a sequel and there IS a true remake of it on XBLA. Must have mixed both games in my head. Still, the point stands about there not being any other games in the series when both this and Zero were commercially successful.

+Matthew but he does work hard to find the time and resources to upload all this beautiful music for us, and it's not his full-time job. +SupraDarky Perfect Dark Zero was not a success by any means. From the moment it came out it was panned. Perfect Dark regulars try to forget that game even existed.
