Dang... I bet this battle is fierce.
It's a great game that puts alot of detail throughout the whole experience.Cant say that about alit of newer games so yeah I like it.Very colorful.Decent story.All in all pretty good game worth checking out if you haven't yet.
Only after you've fought the golden dragon for the 17th time does this get old, but I still love it

+Puddimans Amen to that haha. It was hilarious the first time this played. And if you weren't ready to catch the fish it would be a hella long struggle lol.
In a game that mostly has terrible Kazoo music that's trying to be whimsical, but failing miserably this sounds pretty ok. I'm still playing it, but very slowly. Music really makes a game for me and a bland, boring, and bad soundtrack really slows my progress.
+Bleachlover01 The music in the later game opens up, thankfully. Some of the music is really great, but a good half is quite annoying. TBH, if music is what you look for in games, a game like Terranigma or Secret of Mana would suit you better, as they both have better soundtracks.
Yeah... this game brought some good memories. I loved how you can go in and out of jobs in the game. Found myself wanting to fully master new recipes, make stronger weapons and armor for myself, and so much more... And that was before I continued the actual main story and actually started to get into fights. By the time I got tired of it, I completely finished it. Such a great game. ^_^
mas8705 I even went so far as to try to make some of the dishes in real life. I had to add ingredients that were implied by context. The end result wasn't too bad, but a ton of fun!! One thing that stuck with me in particular was a quote from a dialogue saying that they in Port Puerto walk with tomatoes in their pockets and eat them whole. And knowing how healthy tomatoes are, I had to try this for myself, and I'm telling you, I eat whole tomatoes every day. Stick 'em firm in the pockets of my coat and munch when I get hungry. Best game advice ever.

It's often like that. One of the C64's most kick-ass themes accompanies a game featuring a small, tubby mole guy, running around, doing somersaults like throwing a stuffed sausage through the air, while avoiding angry coffee mugs, smiley face, etc. (well, it wasn't bad, I mean. Was better than most indie games are these days)
I haven't played Fantasy Life, but I heard it's a blend of classic JRPG and a game like Animal Crossing, which sure sounds fun! It was released in Japan in 2012 but we only got it late last year. Good to see that Uematsu can still pump out powerful battle themes, with this one in particular sometimes reminding me of Lost Odyssey. I'll give it a try someday.

+SupraDarky This game has some nice music. It also has some really silly music. Like the music that plays during encounters with certain Bounty bosses. I do recommend this game, for sure. It's got some looong lastability, for completionists.
+SupraDarky This game is a fantastic poeice of work. I love it. I also had heard and seen lots of great stuff from it,but couldn't lay my hands on it ebfore end of august. By that time I for a long time had something I named for me Student-gaming-Syndrom :P I had so little time that I accostumated myself comepletely to short-dose indie games and the sort, games you could pick up, play and put away again. Isaac, Nuclear Throne, etc. I simply could not bring myself to more story driven or longer games, since I never knew when I could play again. And I hated it, because I love those games. Fantasy Life blew that away in a Flash and I quickly spended over 80 hours in a short tiem on it, while havin great pleasure all the way :) This game is just made with so much love!!!

+SupraDarky It's nothing like Animal Crossing, and it's so annoying when people keep on saying that. Only thing resembling AC is house customization. Fantasy Life is pretty hard to describe, but it has action RPG gameplay. The job system is deep, and there are four combat classes and eight crafting classes. You can freely switch between them when not on a story quest. There are lots of side quests and challenges. The game is very large and you can spend over 100 hours completing everything. The story is nothing special, imo, but the visuals and music are impressive. I enjoyed Fantasy Life due to its addictive gameplay. You would probably like it.

+SupraDarky In reality, there's not many ways to describe it, just be prepared for a lot of text earlygame and then you'll find one of the best designed and brilliant games of this decade.
+SupraDarky The high points of this game are the witty writing and the enormous amount of things to do. I suppose there is also a high level of detail. I felt the combat, questing, crafting and such to be repetitive though. Its generally failed to hold my attention. I bet it would be a blast with multiplayer.
