I've been following SupraDarky for years, his clips always make my day, even though it's mostly music I've already heard. I have to say, I've watched a lot of youtube video game related channels, and I claim that SupraDarky is really educated when it comes to video games, the only thing is that I think is that he isn't well-versed in PC games, but it's just a theory.
with the snes trilogy they knew what they were doing and that is why they hold such a special place in my heart. i can play them over and over again and be content.

Every single soundtrack of DKC2 is a masterpiece. No exceptions.
I always thought this was just so beautiful when I was a kid. I mean, the atmosphere in this game was really something else. The wind blowing...then the music kicks in later, as you're climbing the masts...God, what an experience. This game truly was something beautiful, and has this...subtle, heavy quality to its overall feeling that I feel we just kind of...lost after the turn of the century...? Wonderful track.

DKC2 has one of my favorite video game soundtracks ever. It's got a lot of solid songs, and listening to the full soundtrack is always a delightful treat. So, listening to Jib Jig at the beginning of the game/full soundtrack listening session is an incredible treat. It _really_ sets the atmosphere very well. It's interesting how this song makes me feel incredibly nostalgic and takes me right back to the 90s, even though I never grew up with this game as a kid.
I love this track because of the atmosphere. There's a raging storm out there, you're on a pirate ship, but most of all you feel a sense of adventure - a mystical force guiding you on.
This song expresses so much without a single lyric. It's almost scary how good some of these were made.

DKC2 is pretty much the best title in the franchise and probably my favourite 2D platformer of all time. I prefer 100%ing it over Yoshi's Island.

Donkey Kong Country 2 has an amazing soundtrack, but this is maybe my least favourite level music in the game. I still like it, though, which says a lot about the quality of the OST.

The beginning of this game sets you right into the amazing atmosphere it delivers: pirate ship, heavy rain and wind with a memorable little theme by David Wise. It makes you want to jump in and forget about everything else, taking it all in. The DKC series is one my favorites, especially since the newer games continue to be just as awesome, with arguably even better level design on Retro's part. Stil, there's something about the art/graphics in the SNES trilogy that I miss, providing a very unique atmosphere that isn't as heavy in the newer entries.
+SupraDarky oh man the nnostalgia^^ This game..or rather the game boy version is one of my strongest and stranges childhood gaming memories^^ I remeber so well beating the normal K.Rool End boss on a "Aldi" Parking Lot in Denmark when we were on vacation....sharing the small backseat row wiht my two sisters....ah...memories ^^'
