idk why I felt so sad hearing this. when we first play as Sora , I never expected the theme to change! with Roxas it was all happy sounding. with this one,. . .I get a really sad vibe from it. I like this version better though of this town. one theme represents happiness and life for roxas. and Soras theme, seems calming yet sad. sad since Roxas is now inside Soda and the town is now views by Sora

Kingdom Hearts seems like an alright game. The music is pretty good. But honestly, I don't have much interest in playing it. I get the feeling it wouldn't appeal to me a whole lot.
that's exactly my thoughts, but that game is just so deep, but all the metaphors are put in a innocent way. It's utterly magical.

Kh2 Final Mix is one of the most fun action games ever made, so many options in combat and itâs so fucking fluid and satisfying
To this day, it still remains as my favorite RPG-no, my favorite game of all time.
This game did change me in someway I just know it, I played this game from some fluke, a friend found it on the street (the disc) and gave it to me, I had no interest in it before hand, Thankfully It ended up in my hands as I cherish it

@John Saref There are some of the same tones, but the melody is very different for the most part.
I can feel the homage. But it's not the same as anything in 7. Almost like a bonus track. Bit of 8 in there too imo.

Well, my belief is that Twilight Town is viewed differently by Sora and Roxas. For Sora, we find him waking up from a year-long sleep, whereas for Roxas, Twilight Town is his home, and where his friends are. Roxas' version of the Twilight Town theme is, in my opinion, more touching.
True but why praytell do they do this theme for sora when they could have kept boh themes the same? I like lazy afternoons better then... twilight town Soras version.

"The Afternoon Streets." This may be my favorite piece of music EVER, and that is saying something.
The best music in this game is at the beginning in Twilight Town and the end in The World That Never Was. I liked the soundtrack for Chain of Memories a little better, but this one is pretty great too. Also, unlike most people, I did not have a nostalgia attack when listening to this, cause I play this game all the time.

This has that feel of sort of "Waking up in a world you don't really know where you are". Like when you start KH2. You're immersed in some other world with a different character, totally left there confused for a little while.

Between lazy afternoons and this song, this is definitely the chirpier song. It is a good song choice but IMO I prefer lazy afternoons since I usually go for moodier and more relaxing songs, but that's just me. To each his own.

No offense but this song was very annoying whenever I played Kingdom Hearts 2, but don't get me wrong Kingdom Hearts 2 was a decent game. Heh...people complained about the Disney characters but I though it was just revisiting of old classic movies that I haven't seen since I was a young child.

Same here. I remember first hearing this song at like 9:00 PM or so on June 23rd, 2006, which was the day of my last exam of grade 11, and thus the start of my summer, and the day I started playing KHII. Ah, good times. ^_^
I love it, it always made me feel so good. ' Like you are walking around at afternoon (obviously) with your friends having an awesome time. Something along those lines.
