DYK? This was the very first time the chaotix detectives were present in a sonic game and also: Charmy (the Bee) back then was 16 years old but in his reappearance he got changed to 6(!)
For some reason I thought you posted this years ago. This is basically the song people default to when they think of this game. A shame this game and Sonic CD went for years suffering cancelled rereleases until SEGA ended part of the trend with CD. Now I'm still waiting for this game in a SEGA compilation or on an online game store.

This song somehow sounds familiar. I'm not sure where else I heard it from, but I heard an alternate version of it. Was it used in another Sonic game or a spinoff?

Despite it's glaring problems,is an enjoyable game with a awesome OST,why sega re-release Sonic CD and not Chaotix is beyond me
The "rubber-band" buddy system was indeed strange, but it did influence future Sonic titles like Sonic Advance 3 and Sonic 4: Episode II.

The first 32X entry in the list. I remember we actually had this Genesis add-on but I weirdly have no recollection of the games we owned. I never played this game and heard it's solid, but I've seen a lot of complaints concerning the forced "rubber-band" buddy system that hinders the gameplay. Definitely a strange design decision on Sega's part.
@SupraDarky Never heard of it, but it looks like a dumb Sonic the Hedgehog ripoff.
@Mdude360 It's not a rip-off. It's basically an official Sonic game.
Many people like it, but it's not my cup of tea. Nevertheless, it has pleasent soundtrack.

@SupraDarky The buddy system is one of the problems, but the other one is that the levels go on for 5 acts, and these acts and partners are selected semi-randomly. Also some levels have pretty annoying gimmicks
The only good 32X game.
Stellar Assault, Blackthorne, Kolibri, After Burner, Space Harrier, MK2, WWF Wrestlemania Arcade, are all good games.. some of them, even great...
