SD, have you checked out any of the music for the newest FFXIV expansion, Heavensward? Â The music for the 2nd phase of the Bismarck fight especially sounds like it's right up your alley, and even besides that a lot of it is fantastic music.
The soundtracks to this and Lost Odyssey are superb, some of Uematsu's best stuff in my opinion.
An also really memorable rpg was eternal sonata! I totally soaked that one up! very underrated... Also remember that one tune 'White mirror' which perfectly fit the freezy scenery

Wow, and I was just considering replaying this game again today.
I wish this and Lost Odyssey would get PC releases, there's definitely money to be made porting them to Steam and no risk in doing so even if they don't sell amazingly well. There just wasn't anything on the 360 that was exclusive that catered to me besides these two games and a handful of others. Unless I could get a 360 that was working and wouldn't RROD for dirt cheap ($20-50) I don't ever see myself getting one.
@xOmniCloudx If they ever decided to port Lost Odyssey to PC, I really hope they improve loading times... That killed the experience for me :/ Beside that, the game was brilliant, I still own both Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon :)
+ahmedp800 a couple times I had battles load perpetually. I just watched the random scenery pans over and over. On one occasion I left it on while I attended class. Come back several hours later and its still sitting there, showing me scenery.
+xOmniCloudx they could also make them available for the xbone backwards compatibility feature!
@ragnaroktomorro This post was before the announcement I think but yeah, I have already asked on their forums for that to happen hehe. If XB1 gets original Xbox support as well I'd definitely pick one up in the near future.

Both Mistwalker RPGs on the Xbox 360 ended up being some of my favorites of that console generation. The game's clean aesthetics was great, mixed with Uematsu's usual goodness. This theme was particularly memorable, it always reminds me of the ruined hospital level filled with ghosts.
